Every plan includes every tool: one link for your client, notes right on the file, versions you can compare, approvals with a record, and automatic updates. Plus runs any number of projects with more storage, and Studio adds your team.

Free runs one active project at a time, with as many files, clients, and guests as it needs. Mark it completed or archive it, and you can start the next. Storage is a total for your whole account, not monthly. When you reach a limit, everything you’ve added stays and keeps working. You just can’t add more until you make room or move to Plus.

No. The Free plan doesn’t need a card. You only add one when you choose Plus or Studio.

No. Basefile doesn’t create proposals or agreements, and it doesn’t collect e‑signatures. Upload the file you already have and ask for approval, and your client can approve it or ask for changes from their link. Basefile notes who answered, when, and on which version.

No. Basefile is for feedback and approval. Send your invoice the way you already do, and your client pays you directly. The approval record shows exactly which version they said yes to.

No. They get an email when something needs them, and files you share together arrive as one message. If you asked for their answer, a reminder goes out on the schedule you choose, three at most. They can also choose to hear only about what needs them.

No. You pay for Basefile, not your clients. They just open the private link you send, and they never see a bill from us.

Yes. Start on the Free plan, then move to Plus or Studio from the app whenever you like — it’s in the account menu, or Settings, then Plan. You can move between Plus and Studio there too. Everything you’ve added stays.

Yes, with Studio: up to 5 people on one account, sharing one brand and one set of clients, for $49 a month. Invite them by email from Settings. Each project shows who’s on it, and they hear about everything there. Only you change the plan, the team, and your studio’s settings. For a bigger team, write to support@basefile.io.

Plus is $19 and Studio is $49 a month, in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT may apply, depending on where you are. Paddle, our online reseller, takes the payment and sends your receipts, so your card statement will show Paddle. Cancel whenever you like: you keep your plan until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then move to the Free plan with everything you’ve added.

Yes. Ask within 14 days of any charge, and we’ll refund it in full. The Refund Policy, linked at the bottom of every page, has the details.

It’s a small link at the bottom of each page your client sees, on every plan. On Plus or Studio, you can turn it off in Settings, then Studio.
